Subject: Important Update: Today’s Dietitian Spring Symposium – Going Virtual

Today’s Dietitian Spring Symposium

Today’s Dietitian Spring Symposium — in-person event cancelled.
Details on a virtual meeting forthcoming.

After giving careful thought and consideration to the ongoing developments relating to COVID-19, Today’s Dietitian has made the difficult decision to cancel the in-person Spring Symposium in Savannah. However, we are actively engaged in the development of a virtual event that will offer enhanced access to the educational program and more.

The health and safety of all participants in the Spring Symposium is our top priority.  We also want to respect our professionals’ need to be of service to their patients, clients, and communities during this pandemic.  Further, we wanted to make an early decision to provide participants with an ample amount of time to manage air travel and personal schedules. If you have a room booked at the host hotel, the Hyatt Savannah, you will soon receive a notice that your room is cancelled.

The Spring Symposium is the highlight of the year for the Today’s Dietitian team. We love the opportunity to interact with the profession and everyone who devotes their time and talent to make the event a success, including our speakers, sponsors, moderators, and student volunteers. It will be incredibly difficult to not be able to see you all in person this year.

We are diligently working to exercise Today’s Dietitian’s creativity and agility to put together a virtual program to deliver first rate continuing education sessions, sponsor information and sampling, and unique and engaging activities. We are working to finalize live and on-demand schedules and will publish them soon. You will receive another email once the new schedule is released, along with additional information on this interactive event.

Today’s Dietitian is truly humbled by and grateful for the trust you place in us. We look forward to delivering a valuable and memorable virtual event and to a time when we can see you all again.

Stay safe,
The Today’s Dietitian Team
