Exclusive Webinar Presentation - Digestive Health: Tools in the RD's Toolbox - Presented by Felicia D. Stoler, DCN, MS, RDN, FACSM, FAND, on August 15, 2018, from 2-3 PM EDT - Brought to you through the support of Regular Girl - Earn 1 CPEU Free
Patients often seek the services of an RDN because they are sick and tired of feeling "sick and tired." Bloating, stomach discomfort after eating, inconsistent bowel habits, and similar complaints are commonplace. While diagnosing is not within the RDN's scope of practice, we can help clients with symptom management. The comprehensive nature of RDNs' counseling sessions permit us to dig a bit deeper into solving the complex mystery of what may be ailing patients and clients — without invasive diagnostics! This webinar will discuss food allergies/intolerances, SIBO, FODMAP, IBS, motility issues, and GERD and provide practical strategies for assisting with symptom management.

Learning Objectives
After completing this continuing education course, nutrition professionals should be able to:
  1. List common digestive issues experienced by the general population.
  2. Compare and contrast the nutritional interventions to symptom management for common digestive issues.
  3. Discuss commonalities between nutritional interventions for symptom management of common digestive issues.
